On 9 June, an extraordinary meeting of the Tourdera project was held at the headquarters of the Territorial Promotion Department of the Consell Comarcal de la Selva. The main purpose of the meeting was to announce to the participating municipalities the renewal of the agreement for the 2027\u20132030 period. Taking advantage of the meeting, several updates regarding the current status of the project were also presented.<\/p>\n

As you may know, the Tourdera project is a joint initiative involving 18 municipalities from the regions of La Selva, Vall\u00e8s Oriental and Maresme. The project is managed through a technical office and a participatory governance system based on periodic committee meetings. On 9 June, an extraordinary meeting took place, bringing together representatives of the municipalities involved in the project and the technical office. During the meeting, the renewal of the agreement for the 2027\u20132030 period and its conditions were officially announced.<\/p>\n

The occasion was also used to briefly present some of the main developments that will soon take place within the route project. Firstly, the participants were shown the new promotional video of the route<\/a>, which has been re-edited during the first half of the year. The new version updates key points of the route, such as the mouth of the Tordera River, which has undergone significant changes in recent years. Special care has also been taken to ensure that all 18 participating municipalities are represented in the video.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Secondly, a preview was presented of the new Tordera route planner, a tool that will allow users to create fully customised itineraries and obtain highly detailed information about routes, distances, points of interest, difficulty levels, and much more, according to the exact section of the route they choose. The tool is expected to be launched later this summer.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Finally, the meeting was also used to announce the various actions that will be carried out within the framework of the Hydroscopia project, which will include a wide range of activities directly linked to the Tourdera. Among these activities are a series of guided visits for both the general public and professionals along the route itself, the interpretation of heritage elements related to water found along the route, and the establishment of several points along the Tourdera as sites for participatory biodiversity inventories.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The session concluded with a discussion among attendees regarding the new agreement model that has been proposed. This proposal, together with the meeting minutes, will be sent to all the municipalities participating in the project so that the administrative approval process for the agreements can begin with the different parties involved.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
