Images of the lighting installation on the cycle path between Viabrea and Breda.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><strong>What improvements have been made?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Improved safety for users at night or in low-visibility conditions<\/li>\n<li>Reduced environmental and landscape impact thanks to the use of low-consumption technology<\/li>\n<li>Respectful integration with the natural environment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>These works, with a total cost of \u20ac118,597.96 (VAT excluded), aim to promote healthy lifestyle habits by making it easier to replace the use of private vehicles with bicycles, as well as improving the connection between Breda and Riells i Viabrea. The initiative helps to strengthen the area\u2019s sustainable tourism offer, making it easier to discover the natural and cultural environment of the area in a more accessible and safer way. It also boosts the local economy and guides the municipalities towards a more sustainable and balanced development model.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The PSTD la Selva interior project<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This action is part of the \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/portal.selva.cat\/index.php\/serveis\/premsa-i-comunicacio\/butlleti-d-informacio\/48-arxiu-de-noticies\/turisme\/2634-el-consell-comarcal-de-la-selva-impulsa-el-pla-de-sostenibilitat-turistica-en-destinacio-per-modernitzar-i-diversificar-el-sector-turistic-de-la-comarca\">PSTD la Selva interior<\/a>\u201d project, which aims to enhance the natural and heritage resources of inland La Selva in order to offer a high-quality, diversified tourism product that complements coastal tourism. The project consists of 17 actions focused on active tourism, hiking and cycle tourism, the digitalisation of heritage and its promotion.
