As we have already informed you on several occasions, the Tourdera Technical Office carries out two complete inspections of the route every year. This January, we processed all the data collected during the inspection carried out between October and November across all Tourdera sections distributed among the 18 participating municipalities.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The Consell Comarcal de la Selva, acting as the Technical Office of the Tourdera project, carries out two full inspections of the route every year in order to assess its condition and ensure that the infrastructure remains fully accessible for users. Specifically, during the final months of 2025, the second complete inspection of the previous year was carried out. Based on this inspection, 18 customised reports were prepared\u2014one for each municipality\u2014so that the maintenance teams could undertake the necessary improvements.<\/p>\n

During the latest inspection, a total of 126 incidents were detected across the 18 municipalities. Each detailed report includes an individual record for every incident, providing the maintenance teams with all the necessary information (description, photographs, identification of the affected sign or section, mapping, etc.).<\/p>\n

As we have explained before, the route is maintained through four different channels: municipal maintenance teams, the maintenance brigade of the Parc Natural del Montseny, the Fundaci\u00f3 Acci\u00f3 Baix Montseny, and the route maintenance brigade of the Consell Comarcal de la Selva.<\/p>\n

Maintenance is a key aspect of the route. For this reason, in addition to the two annual full inspections and the reports issued to the maintenance teams, route users can also report any incidents they detect through the dedicated web form ([www.tourdera.cat\/incidencies](http:\/\/www.tourdera.cat\/incidencies)<\/a>): you can tell us what you found, attach photographs, and so on.<\/p>\n

The latest inspection carried out over the past few months confirmed, as expected, that most incidents are related to the route signage, since these elements are the most exposed both to weather conditions and vandalism. It should be noted that the Tourdera has a total of 865 sign supports and 1,827 signage panels installed along the route.<\/p>\n

During this inspection, 109 signage-related incidents (75%) and 17 route-section incidents (13%) were detected. Of all the incidents, 94 were classified as minor (75%), while the remaining 32 were considered major (25%). Major incidents are those that could significantly increase the risk of users failing to identify the correct route and getting lost. Finally, during the inspection itself, 22 incidents (18%) were resolved directly on site whenever the work could be carried out during the inspection visit, such as replacing Tourdera vinyl stickers, straightening bent signs or carrying out simple vegetation pruning. The remaining incidents consisted of 77 pending cases (61%) and 27 cases already in progress (21%), mainly related to signage improvements in the municipality of Sant Feliu de Buixalleu, where a route realignment is currently underway and is expected to resolve many of the outstanding issues.
