Within the framework of the Sustainable Tourism Destination Plan being developed by the La Selva County Council, a cycle of free seminars aimed at tourism entrepreneurs and local entities took place during the month of October to assist in the process of creating tourism products.<\/p>\n

Within the framework of the Sustainable Tourism Destination Plan<\/strong> that the La Selva County Council is developing, a series of actions aimed at tourism entrepreneurs and local entities will take place throughout the second semester of 2025 to make the territory where the County Council develops its projects more sustainable and of higher quality. Among these projects, therefore, are the \u201cTordera and Arb\u00facies Stream Route (Tourdera)\u201d.<\/p>\n

Among these actions is a cycle of three seminars on tourism product creation<\/strong>, with the aim of promoting innovative, digital, and sustainable products that highlight the territory’s resources, diversify the offer, and contribute to deseasonalization.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The first of the seminars took place in Blanes on October 3rd, titled “Tourism product creation and new trends<\/strong>“, and was attended by the Blanes City Council councilor, Mr. Joan Felip Fures, and the tourism counselor Jennifer P\u00e9rez, accompanied by the third vice-president, Albert Sans. The session was led by Mr. Jaume Mar\u00edn, who showed the importance of considering the multiple factors that can affect the creation of our tourism product: the target audience, specificity, differentiation, user experience, etc. In the second part of the session, he carried out a very practical and participatory dynamic in which the importance of networking among different entrepreneurs was highlighted, as well as being creative throughout the process, knowing how to specify an attractive, viable, and credible proposal, etc. In addition to being a very didactic session, the participants valued the session very positively for its relaxed and pleasant tone!<\/p>\n

The second seminar took place on October 17th in Hostalric, titled “Digital transformation, communication, and sustainability<\/strong>” and was attended by the Mayor of Hostalric, Nil Papiol, and the tourism counselor, Jennifer P\u00e9rez. In this workshop, taught by Ms. Gemma Sunyer from the company Tamago the studio, they spoke about how to enhance the value of tourism products through effective communication strategies, affordable digital tools, and sustainable approaches, emphasizing the most used Social Networks. They also spoke about building one’s own discourse in a saturated digital environment, incorporating sustainability into the brand narrative, and implementing technological solutions for tourism SMEs.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Finally, on October 31st, a third seminar titled “Promotion, commercialization, and accessibility<\/strong>” was held at the Vichy Catal\u00e1n Spa in Caldes de Malavella (from 9 am to 1 pm). This seminar, which featured a welcome from the tourism counselor, Jennifer P\u00e9rez, consisted of a more practical session where the different attendees, from very diverse fields (city councils, accommodations, cultural services, etc.), were able to share experiences and generate synergies. The session emphasized the importance of accessibility in the creation of tourism products, explained by Charo Errando, along with aspects of promotion and commercialization, which are more common in this type of seminar. The session also included the presentation of practical cases, such as the Montseny Via Natural project, presented by the technician from the Santa Maria de Palautordera City Council, Xavier Muntasell.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
