The Selva County Council, through the Tourdera project, has initiated, together with other partners, the creation of a cross-border network to work on the framework of integrated water management: protection, research, integrated management, valorization, and dissemination of natural and cultural heritage linked to water, etc.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Specifically, at the end of 2024, the task of creating a network of entities linked to tourism began, which was named Hydroscopia Network<\/strong>, which have concerns about water management in the territories of Catalonia and Northern Catalonia. In this sense, the Selva County Council valued the proposal very positively, since this network allows for sharing concerns, ways of facing tourism problems in the territory, etc., applicable to the entire Tourdera territory, and will allow future projects to be launched.<\/p>\n

The network aims to identify, promote, and disseminate innovative actions in water resource management, taking advantage of existing infrastructure and facilities such as aquariums, museums, ski resorts, thermal centers, and water routes in the participating territories. By interconnecting the network partners, the aim is to contribute to the enrichment of the tourist experience and foster greater environmental awareness among residents and visitors, reinforcing the relationship between natural heritage, education, and sustainable development.<\/p>\n

Parallel to the creation of the Hydroscopia Network, and as a result of the creation meetings in which the Selva County Council participated, the opportunity arose to participate in the design of a first cross-border project together with the various partners to educate, raise awareness, and transform water uses through regenerative tourism. The project, which has been named Hydroscopia-Regen project<\/strong> and has the participation of 10 partners, has been presented to the classic call for European projects POCTEFA<\/strong> and, if subsidized, will involve the implementation of direct actions on the Tourdera territory, such as:<\/p>\n
