Every April 22nd, Earth Day is celebrated, a day dedicated to raising awareness about the importance of protecting our planet and fostering sustainable habits that favor biodiversity and the health of ecosystems. It is an opportunity to reflect on our environmental impact and to act responsibly, both individually and collectively.<\/p>\n

In this context, the Tourdera Route is presented as an ideal proposal to celebrate and connect with nature sustainably. This itinerary, which connects the Montseny Natural Park with the mouth of the Tordera River on the Mediterranean, crosses landscapes of great ecological and cultural value. Throughout its more than 100 km, the Tourdera offers a mosaic of forests, riverbanks, fields, and towns with a rich biodiversity that must be preserved.<\/p>\n

The route becomes a powerful tool for environmental education. Traveling it on foot or by bicycle allows you to observe native fauna and flora up close, understand the importance of natural spaces, and learn about the relationship between human activity and the environment. Walking or cycling in silence, with respect, favors a deeper connection with the environment and reinforces the sense of responsibility towards our natural heritage.<\/p>\n

Promoting hiking and cycle tourism as forms of sustainable mobility is key to reducing the environmental impact of tourism. In addition to being a healthy practice, it helps to minimize CO2 emissions and avoid overcrowding in specific points of the territory. The Tourdera offers an alternative for local tourism, ideal for families, schools, and people who want to discover the territory with ecological awareness.<\/p>\n

Through this route, responsible and local tourism is also promoted, benefiting the economy of the municipalities it passes through. Consuming local products, respecting natural space regulations, and following good practices such as not leaving waste or staying on marked paths, are simple but effective ways to have a positive ecological footprint.<\/p>\n
