We all like to find everything clean, in a calm, relaxed environment, etc., when we go on excursions in the natural environment. Therefore, we must all ensure this is possible and alter the space we visit as little as possible. In this article, we have wanted to provide a small collection of tips and recommendations for when you go on a route in a natural space, whether it is in our Tourdera or in any other recreational area in the natural environment.<\/p>\n

We have all been witnesses, at one time or another, to uncivil behavior towards the natural environment and even towards people’s safety. This includes behaviors such as making noise, not disposing of waste in appropriate places (or taking it home), causing nuisance or directly harming flora and fauna, bothering other people (for example, local residents), engaging in risky behavior such as smoking or lighting fires in areas with a risk of fire, etc. Although not everyone has the same thresholds and limits, there are minimums of civility in natural spaces that we must all keep in mind.<\/p>\n

Tips to keep in mind so that our outdoor activity generates minimal impact:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. All waste generated during a visit to the natural environment must be taken with us until we can dispose of it properly.<\/li>\n
  2. If you bring your pets, you must always keep them on a leash and take care of their hydration. You must ensure their well-being, but also that of wild animals, grazing animals, etc.<\/li>\n
  3. If you travel with your private vehicle, you must always park in the areas enabled for this purpose and never do so on the sides of paths, etc.<\/li>\n
  4. You must never deviate from the marked route, not only so as not to get lost, but also because you may invade private property, step on areas that may affect wildlife and flora, etc.<\/li>\n
  5. Avoid swimming in the river unless the area is authorized for it, as we can alter the environment and the tranquility of the species that live there.<\/li>\n
  6. Lighting fires is generally totally prohibited, and especially during periods of drought.<\/li>\n
  7. Do not take anything that does not belong to you, such as stones, plants, or animals. Enjoy everything, but leave it where it belongs.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
