Last Friday, May 31st, a meeting for business owners took place in Santa Maria de Palautordera to create tourism products around the Tourdera. As you know, at Tourdera we have a directory of companies<\/a> where you can find services for route users, but with this event, we wanted to go a step further and encourage business owners to create products around the Tourdera by combining different services.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The City Council of Santa Maria de Palautordera hosted a meeting of Tourdera business owners on May 31st to begin the task of creating tourism products around the route. After the welcome provided by the city council’s local development councillor, Mr. Albert Ferrer, the project technician gave a short presentation about the route and the current directory of services, inviting more companies to join.<\/p>\n

Next, each of the participating companies gave a short presentation of the services they offer, their interests, etc., with the aim of creating synergies with other business owners to develop tourism products for the route. Subsequently, the City Council of Santa Maria de Palautordera offered a coffee to the attendees, thus fostering an atmosphere to encourage interaction between the different attendees and exchange contacts for future collaborations and tourism products.<\/p>\n

The Tourdera project is an initiative led by 18 town councils that, by offering a hiking and cycle tourism route, want to incentivize their local economies through the arrival of visitors to their municipalities. As we presented to you some time ago<\/a>, from Tourdera we first created a directory of companies on the website<\/a> so that users who want to prepare for the route can plan where they will stay, have lunch, rent bicycles, buy local products, etc. And now, it is time to encourage companies to collaborate with each other by creating joint products.<\/p>\n

If you are a company and are interested in participating in the directory of companies, you can contact us (mcorominas@selva.cat) and you will only have to send us a form that we will send you by email, along with a photograph of the establishment. The service is free for all companies in the municipalities participating in the project. And if you want to create a tourism product with another company, you can consult the directory or ask us if we have any contacts that might interest you.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
