A dialogue between man and the territory\u201d<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In the town of Montseny, you can visit two permanent exhibitions, both organized by the Town Council. The first one, called \u2018Les esquelles d\u2019en Jaume\u2019, is the result of a lifelong search, that of Jaume Traveria Vila, first a Montseny shepherd and later a passionate collector. For more than half a century, Jaume -with the constant presence and encouragement of his wife Montserrat Garriga- recovered countless bells of various types and origins until forming an extraordinary collection of these small sound instruments, associated for centuries with the shepherd&#8217;s daily life.<\/p>\n<p>The second exhibition, more focused on the interaction between man and Montseny, is divided into four areas: \u2018From the first occupations to the farmhouse crisis\u2019, \u2018The city discovers the mountain\u2019, \u2018From the Patronage time to the Montseny Natural Park\u2019, and \u2018The future of the Park\u2019, and it also houses a map with the evolution of the protection area and three display cases showing different physical elements that illustrate the historical periods of this protection. The exhibition consists of a tour of six rooms: Room 1 (Rafael Patxot, science and patronage), Room 2 (Catalan Farmhouse), Room 3 (Books and Nature), Room 4 (Clouds), Room 5 (Catalan Observatory), and Room 6 (Popular song). And the audiovisual offers an overview of the scientific and patronage work of Rafael Patxot: the study of the Catalan farmhouse, the relationship with hiking, meteorology, astronomy, and popular songbooks (it lasts approximately 30 minutes).<\/p>\n<p>Location: Masia Mariona<br \/>\nCtra. 5119, Km. 2.5. The exhibition deals with the Montseny Natural Park and its declaration as a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO in 1978, showing the extraordinary biodiversity and the cultural footprint of man in Montseny.
