<\/p>\nJust as we informed you a few days ago, the Tordera Route and Arb\u00facies stream (Tourdera) is an itinerary that follows the course of the Tordera River and the Arb\u00facies stream in practically its entirety, but there are also some links to the route from towns near the river, as is the case of Gualba, Massanes, Breda or Vallgorguina. Today we present the case of Vallgorguina.<\/p>\n

Just as we explained with the case of Gualba, in the case of Vallgorguina you should think that you will be able to do the itinerary from Vallgorguina towards the main route, but also in the opposite direction. The itinerary, in this case, takes place through part of the Montnegre – el Corredor Natural Park, and will allow you to deviate a little from the itinerary to be able to see, for example, the well-known Pedra Gentil dolmen.<\/p>\n

The stretch of the Tourdera between Vallgorguina and Sant Celoni is a stretch of more than 9 kilometers in length and of moderate difficulty, with an accumulated climbing gradient of 118 meters. We will start the description of the section from the Vallgorguina tourist information point. In the same center of Vallgorguina you can enjoy services such as bars, restaurants, the Forest and Agriculture Museum, etc. To start the route is very simple, you just need to follow the first indications of the Tourdera, which will direct you towards the Vallgorguina Greenway, which is used by the route.<\/p>\n

The first thing you will notice, very close to the tourist information point, is the route panel and the first tracking banner that indicates the itinerary. Following the indications, you will travel a few meters along the C-61 road to the entrance of the town, where it immediately indicates a change of direction. In a few meters you will enter the Greenway, an itinerary parallel to the Vallgorguina stream, very quiet and in the shade, where a good part of the route runs. Among other points, you will pass by the sewage treatment plant, the old church of Vallgorguina and you will arrive at the Pont d’en Pradell. From this point, the route takes a track and enters the Montnegre – el Corredor Natural Park, in an ascent that will allow you to access the Pedra Gentil Dolmen. Continuing the itinerary, you will follow tracks and paths, going back down towards the Vallgorguina stream, just in an area with a circuit.<\/p>\n

From this point, you will continue parallel to the Vallgorguina stream until the Molinot industrial estate. From here, you will start the last stretch until you link with the main itinerary, passing a few meters along the shoulder of the C-61 road, crossing the highway, until you reach the main itinerary, right in the center of Pont Trencat. When you arrive, you will see it because there is a route support with the relevant indications, towards Sant Celoni and towards Santa Maria de Palautordera, among other destinations.
