We present a new active section of the Tourdera, this time between the municipalities of Blanes and Malgrat de Mar. In the previous news, we presented the first of the sections of the route that start from Blanes, specifically between Blanes and Palafolls, a section in which important work had to be carried out on the surface. Part of this same section coincides with the one that leads to Malgrat de Mar and here we present it to you!<\/p>\n

Blanes has been the last municipality to finish the adaptation and signage work for the Tordera and Arb\u00facies stream route. Specifically, an important intervention has been carried out on the GI-682 road bridge, consisting of improving access and safety on the bridge, and another important action consisting of creating an access for hikers and bicycles to the Blanes train station, in addition to the entire signposting process for the route.<\/p>\n

In this case, we present the section of the Tordera route between the towns of Blanes and Malgrat de Mar. One of the strong points of this section is that shortly after starting the route or shortly before finishing it (depending on the direction in which you do it), you will have the opportunity to take a detour to the mouth of the Tordera river, an important natural space that a multitude of migratory birds take advantage of to make a stop on their way south. The section is also linked to two train stations, those of Blanes and Malgrat de Mar.<\/p>\n

In recent weeks, the task of signposting the section has also been completed. It presents a very low difficulty, with a length of 11 kilometers, and will allow you to get to know the lower course of the Tordera river, with its mouth.
