The interest of the area is, above all, because it forms a coastal lagoon, isolated from the sea by a sandbar, which is used by numerous bird species, especially during their migrations.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Despite being a natural space of high interest, over the years the mouth of the Tordera has suffered a strong regression and heavy anthropic pressure.
