Section Tourdera Riells i Viabrea – Breda

The Riells i Viabrea–Breda section is an easy route, 3.8 kilometres long, with a total ascent of 83 metres. Almost the entire route follows a cycle path separated from traffic. Around 800 metres from the start of the section, you will pass through the village of Viabrea, where the railway station is located. While much of the cycle path is paved (between Breda and Viabrea), the section between Can Salvà and Viabrea follows an unpaved compacted gravel path.

At the start of the section, in Plaça de la Vila in Riells i Viabrea, you will find several parking areas and a range of services, including a bar, a library and a primary healthcare centre. The route begins at Can Salvà (Town Hall), where you will find the route information panel and route markers (small urban wayfinding signs).

Le parcours de la Tourdera entre Riells i Viabrea (Can Salvà) et Breda est très facile. Il mesure près de 4 km de longueur et présente un dénivelé positif cumulé de seulement 83 m. Le départ de l’itinéraire se trouve au panneau d’information situé à Can Salvà (mairie de Riells i Viabrea), sur la plaça de la Vila. En suivant les indications des panneaux urbains, vous vous dirigerez vers le village de Viabrea par une voie en stabilisé, séparée de la circulation et parallèle à la route GI-552.

Une fois arrivé à Viabrea, vous pourrez faire un détour vers la gare ferroviaire ou poursuivre votre chemin vers Breda par la piste cyclable qui longe à nouveau la route GI-552. Celle-ci est également séparée de la circulation, mais cette fois entièrement asphaltée.

Il est important de ne jamais quitter l’itinéraire balisé et de respecter les recommandations relatives à la protection de la nature tout au long du parcours.

À votre arrivée à Breda, vous vous dirigerez vers le monastère de Sant Salvador, où se termine ce tronçon. Dans toute la commune, vous trouverez également différents services tels que des bars, des restaurants et d’autres commerces.
