For several months, the ford crossing the Santa Coloma stream in Massanes had disappeared due to Storm Gloria, which meant the section between the center of Massanes and the train station was completely cut off. Currently, a temporary repair has been carried out, allowing the passage of vehicles and people, but caution must be exercised because it is a transitory measure that would likely not withstand a major surge of the stream.
Therefore, the Massanes – Train Station section is now considered operational again, but precautions must be taken in case of rain, and instructions not to cross in case of flooding must be followed. For this reason, we ask that you circulate with caution at this point (red section on the attached map below).
