Passage of the route as it passes through the village of Tordera
Recommendations
Hiking and cycling activities in the natural environment must be carried out with constant respect for nature and the surroundings, while also ensuring your own safety. Please be advised that various sections of the Tordera route pass through areas with differing levels of protection—such as natural parks, PEIN areas, Natura 2000 sites, etc.—so we remind you that:
a) You must respect nature:
- Follow the marked paths and do not stray from the designated routes; do not trespass on private property or encroach upon the natural environment.
- If you are accompanied by dogs, keep them on a leash and do not allow them to intrude into the natural area.
- Take your waste with you and dispose of it in the designated areas.
- Respect the silence of nature so you can enjoy the area’s unique and characteristic sounds.
- Leave your cars at the start of the trail sections; you will always find nearby parking.
- Never release pets or exotic species into the wild.
b) You must ensure your own safety:
- Find out about the section of the route you plan to take beforehand and choose the one that best suits your ability level; do not overestimate your capabilities.
- Make sure to bring the necessary gear for the route: water, food, comfortable footwear, sunscreen, etc. Carrying a map is recommended.
- If cycling, bring appropriate equipment, wear a helmet, and respect pedestrian right-of-way and traffic regulations.
- The route can be done at any time of year, but check the weather forecast beforehand and avoid exposing yourself to adverse conditions.
The organizers disclaim all liability for any incidents arising from hiking or cycling activities undertaken by users while following the Tordera and Arbúcies Stream Route.
