Did you know that the Maçanet-Massanes train station is connected to the Tordera and Arbúcies stream route? Well, yes, there is a section between Massanes and the train station, signposted like the rest of the route, that allows you to arrive by train and start the route first towards Massanes and then continue it to Hostalric, where it links up with the main itinerary of the route.
If you arrive by train at the Maçanet-Massanes station, you have the possibility to start the Tordera route along one of its connecting itineraries, following the same signage as the rest of the route, which will allow you to walk or cycle to Massanes first (train station – Massanes section) and then to Hostalric (Massanes – Hostalric section), where you will find the main itinerary of the route that will allow you to go towards the river mouth or towards the source.
