This week, new Tourdera signage has been installed on the cycle path that connects the town of Breda with the center of Viabrea and its train station. This cycle path, which is part of the Tourdera section between Breda and Riells i Viabrea, is part of a safe walkway between these two municipalities, where you will now also find the Tourdera identification.
As we informed you in August 2020, after months of construction, the cycle path connecting the urban center of Breda and the Riells i Viabrea-Breda railway station was officially inaugurated. It is a section that is entirely part of the Tourdera route between Riells i Viabrea and Breda; more specifically, it consists of a 2-kilometer route parallel to the GI-552 road, 3 meters wide, paved with asphalt, and completely segregated from the road (separated by a distance of between 3 and 5.5 meters along the route).
Since this week, you will also find the Tourdera signage on the ground, although until now there was no risk of getting lost due to the clear layout. This cycle path, which despite its name is also a path for walking, provides great security in people’s daily mobility and promotes both hiking and cycling. In fact, if you travel by road between Breda and Riells, you will immediately see the number of users who use the new path.
We leave you with some images of the newly installed signage:
