In recent days, various maintenance operations have been carried out on the Tourdera signage in Arbúcies, and at the same time, the signage has been improved in different wooded sections where, as a result of the opening of logging tracks, the path could be confusing. The new signage, considering that the affected sections are within the Montseny Natural Park, has been carried out following the Park signage regulations.
One of the problems with signage for hiking or cycling routes in wooded environments is that, because we are in a constantly changing environment, the signage needs to be updated. This fact is very common in areas with forest management, as the removal of firewood from the forest leads to the recovery of forest tracks that are only used for this purpose. In these cases, what happens is that a forest track that seemed abandoned and by no means led a route user to enter it now generates doubt as to whether the path goes through that point.
Taking advantage of the periodic maintenance work on the route, some new tracking signs for the Tourdera have been placed in the municipality of Arbúcies these days, so if you do the itinerary, you will surely find new signs. Remember that whenever you observe incidents on the route, you can communicate them to us using the form we have enabled for this purpose (incidents form).
We leave you with some images of the new signage.
