On October 18th, the Montseny City Council carried out an improvement action on the directional signage for the route’s tracking banners throughout the municipality. Specifically, these were directional banners in the rural environment (natural park signage), which were having problems with the vinyl stickers.
As we have explained to you on other occasions, outdoor itinerary signage presents various problems that affect its condition and conservation, including the effect of the weather (temperatures, water, etc.). In the municipality of Montseny, right in the heart of the Natural Park, an action was carried out on Wednesday, October 18th, to update several vinyls on tracking banners that were showing signs of deterioration due to the passage of time.
The action, which was carried out in a single day, did not pose any problem for following the route since it was performed “in situ”. Although following the route was never compromised, the update of this signage represents an improvement in the image of the route for users.
Remember that any route user can report an issue regarding the signage via the web form enabled to receive these types of notifications.
