This week, improvement works have been carried out along the Tourdera route through the municipality of Sant Celoni, which had been significantly damaged after Storm Gloria. Specifically, a major sinkhole in the Llobateres wetland area and the crossing over the Fuirosos stream have been repaired. Remember that before doing any section of the route, you have the route map with the current conditions available.
Specifically, the storm significantly affected some points in the municipality of Sant Celoni, but most especially the Llobateres wetland area, where a major sinkhole formed on the track, which temporarily had to be avoided by taking a small, narrow side path.
Likewise, another point with significant impact was the route’s crossing over the Fuirosos stream, which passed over a small bridge that became undermined and had its access routes severely damaged.
