Information on the “Tordera and Arbúcies stream route” section between the town of Arbúcies and Montsoriu Castle is now available. As you know, the signage for the remaining sections of the route has recently been completed and we will continue uploading all the information to the website. With this new section, the entire route through the municipality of Arbúcies is now available, which is approximately 35 kilometers of total route, adding the exclusive variants for hikers and the itineraries for bicycles.
After many weeks of work, and once all the works necessary for the preparation and signage of the route have been completed, we can now offer you information on the section between Arbúcies and Montsoriu Castle. This section, corresponding to the branch of the route along the Arbúcies stream, will allow you to connect Montsoriu Castle, the most important Gothic castle in Catalonia, with the town of Arbúcies.
With this new section, we complete all the information regarding the municipality of Arbúcies, a municipality with nearly 35 kilometers of signposted Tourdera route that runs practically throughout its route through the Montseny Natural Park. Above all, it runs through forests, some of great beauty, such as the beech forests.
Currently, you can now have the information on this new section, which presents variants to be done exclusively on foot, and has a moderate physical demand, with a distance of about 8 kilometers if you do it on foot, or about 13 kilometers if you do it by bicycle.
