Surely many of you already know the mouth of the Tordera, a natural space located between the municipalities of Blanes and Malgrat de Mar, where the Tordera river pours its waters into the sea. The interest of the area is, above all, because it forms a coastal lagoon, isolated from the sea by a sandbar, which is used by numerous bird species, especially during their migrations.
Despite being a natural space of high interest, over the years the mouth of the Tordera has suffered a strong regression and heavy anthropic pressure.
