On October 13th, a presentation of the « Ruta de la Tordera i riera d’Arbúcies » project took place at Masia Can Figueres in Gualba, open to the general public. During the talk, the route was introduced, but the project and its ultimate goal as a territorial development project were also discussed in general terms.
This Friday, October 13th, a talk about the Tordera and Arbúcies stream route was held in Gualba. During the event, it was explained how the initiative was born as a territorial development project that materialized with the creation of a hiking and cycling route between the Montseny and the Mediterranean (Costa Brava and Costa de Barcelona), two important tourist attractions.
It was also an opportunity to make known more specific aspects of the route, such as its signage, course, connecting itineraries, variants for hikers, access from train stations, where to find information about the route, etc. And the description of the route through the municipality of Gualba was deepened, as well as the new tool that has been made available to companies in the territory to be able to visualize their services within the framework of the project.
The event ended with the screening of the promotional video of the route, a descent from the source of the Tordera river to its mouth, which gives a good idea of the route and which you can watch here. Finally, an open floor was opened where the questions of the different attendees were addressed.
