Signage improvements in Tordera

On March 13th, the Tordera City Council carried out several improvements to the directional signaling of the route’s tracking banners throughout the municipality. Specifically, content on directional banners damaged by the passage of time was updated, and missing Tourdera identification plaques were replaced.

As part of the routine maintenance work for the Tordera route, the Tordera City Council has performed some improvements to the route’s signage. One of the main problems with outdoor itinerary signage is the effect of weathering, which affects the condition and conservation of the signs (temperatures, water, etc.). On Wednesday, March 13th, the Tordera City Council performed a maintenance operation on the Tourdera signs passing through the municipality, replacing tracking banners that were in poor condition, as well as replacing some route identification plaques that had disappeared.

The operation, which was completed in a single day, did not cause any problems for following the route since it was carried out “in situ,” and it was not necessary to remove any type of sign for workshop repairs. The update of this signage represents an improvement in the route’s image for users, as can be seen in some of the examples shown at the end of the article, with “before and after” images of the signs that were intervened.

Remember that any user of the route can report issues regarding the signage through the web form enabled for receiving this type of notification.
