Earth Day

April 22nd is officially commemorated as Earth Day, a day that should serve to inform, educate, and raise awareness about all environmental problems, helping us to become aware of the importance of preserving it.

We thought today was a good day to talk to you about the importance of knowing well the environmental problems we have on Earth, largely to help us preserve it and be able to enjoy it without damaging it. Earth Day is the best day to raise awareness of the environmental problems we face, the destruction of ecosystems we are suffering, the pollution we are exposed to, the endangered species that may disappear, etc.

Earth Day was celebrated for the first time on April 22, 1970, in the United States with the intention of creating a global mindset to act actively against ecological problems, whether personally or collectively, locally or regionally, since the reality is that everyone has something to say. The promoter of Earth Day, John McConnell, first proposed the idea of “Earth Day” to UNESCO at an Environment Conference in 1969, and it was the seed from which this anniversary began the following year.

It is very important that each of us takes care of our environment; otherwise, we will not be able to continue enjoying nature or, for example, walks along the Tourdera. Think that every action adds up: manage your waste properly, minimize water consumption, take care not to alter your environment, etc. Only in this way, and with the collaboration of everyone, can we take care of the planet and preserve it for future generations.

To end this short article, we have prepared an Instagram video for you about the Tourdera, with animals, plants, landscapes, paths, etc., to remind us all of the importance of preserving our ecosystems so we can enjoy them every time we visit them.
