As you know, the Tordera route (Tourdera) is a long itinerary that includes the entire course of the Tordera River and the Arbúcies stream. Therefore, to do it in its entirety, it is recommended to plan it in stages, which will allow you to enjoy the experience without having to make a great effort. This is how the Centre Excursionista Farners planned from the beginning of the year to discover the whole route in stages and allow all interested people to join in.
The Centre Excursionista Farners, an entity with 47 years of history, has organized different outings along the Tourdera during this year 2022 in order to complete the entire itinerary in 9 stages. In January of this year, the first section was carried out between the Coll de Sant Marçal and the village of Montseny, with 44 attendees who were able to enjoy the source of the Tordera River and the forests of this very interesting section of the route. Since then, 6 more stages have been organized, and between September and November the last three stages will take place, ending in Blanes. Below we list the different outings:
January 30: Sant Marçal – Montseny (44 participants)
February 20: Montseny – Mosqueroles (38 participants)
March 13: Mosqueroles – Sant Celoni (35 participants)
April 24: Sant Celoni – Hostalric (31 participants)
May 22: Sant Marçal – Arbúcies (35 participants)
June 12: Arbúcies – Coll de n’Orri (14 participants)
September 4: Coll de n’Orri – Hostalric (28 participants)
October 23: Hostalric – Tordera (registrations open)
November 20: Tordera – Mouth of the Tordera (registrations open)

Keep in mind, as you will see on the Centre’s website, that the outings are made by bus from Santa Coloma de Farners to the starting point of the stage, with a price for members and non-members, and that you must have insurance, which, if you don’t have it, they can prepare for you for one day at a cost of €5.
