Due to the works carried out in the access area to the Can Buscà industrial estate (Tordera), which were recently completed, some improvements to the Tourdera signage have been made by the Tordera town council to improve route tracking and safety for users.
The Tourdera route through the northern area of Tordera runs along the so-called river promenade, an area completely segregated from traffic until it reaches the Camí de Fogars. At this point, the route follows this historic path, shared by motor vehicles, bicycles, and pedestrians, which is worth noting as an area with low traffic volume. Just at the point where the river promenade connects with the Camí de Fogars, improvement works have been carried out in recent months, creating a new bridge exactly at the junction of the Torrent de la Mina d’Or and the Torrent de Can Mates.
As a result of these works, and those for the improvement of the industrial estate, some improvements have been made to the route’s signage, consisting of a directional fingerpost that clearly indicates the direction of the route towards the Camí de Fogars or towards the river promenade, as well as a shared path warning sign. Likewise, during the passage through the industrial estate, the route tracking has been reinforced with Tourdera vinyl stickers. Taking advantage of these improvements, the town council also carried out maintenance on the wooden footbridge in the area where the route runs.

With these improvements, the issue on the website warning about the construction works of the new bridge and the small diversion of the itinerary has been resolved.
