During the month of February, the Sant Celoni Town Council carried out improvements to the Tourdera’s directional wayfinding signage throughout the municipality. Specifically, the work involved replacing the vinyls on several directional signs which, over the years, had begun to show signs of deterioration.
Outdoor route signage is subject to various factors that affect its condition and preservation, including exposure to weather conditions such as temperature changes, rain and other environmental factors. During February, the municipality of Sant Celoni carried out work to replace the vinyls on several directional signs that had deteriorated over the years. The replacement of the signs was carried out by the Sant Celoni Town Council maintenance team, which is responsible for maintaining the route within the municipality.

During the maintenance work, 17 sign supports were serviced, specifically 2 urban signs and 29 large directional signs, distributed along the more than 20 km of the Tordera route that pass through the municipality of Sant Celoni.

The work caused no disruption to following the route, as it was carried out directly on site. Although route navigation was never affected, updating this signage represents an improvement in the image of the route for its users.
Remember that any user of the route can report signage incidents through the online form available for this purpose.
