Modification of the route between Mosqueroles and Sant Esteve de Palautordera

This week, the signage for the modified route section between Mosqueroles and Sant Esteve de Palautordera has been completed. Specifically, the section between the Tordera River and Santa Magdalena had to be modified due to conflicts between route users and local property owners. Currently, if you want to visit the Castle while doing the Tourdera, you must detour about 600m from the itinerary and return to resume it.

If you are planning to walk the route between Sant Esteve de Palautordera and Mosqueroles these days, you will notice that the hiking itinerary has been slightly modified between the hermitage of Santa Magdalena and the Tordera River. Previously, the route passed through the Castell de Montclús itself, but due to conflicts with private properties in the area, a slight diversion has been made.

The most important detail is that if you want to visit the Castell de Montclús while on this itinerary, you will have to detour about 400 metres to reach the Castle, and to continue, you will have to walk those 400 metres back to return to the main route. With the signage installed this week, you will have no trouble following the route. If you need it, you can download the route tracks on the section page:

We hope you enjoy the section if you are planning to do it soon. We leave you with some images of the new signage.
