Last August 17th, the Vadebici group, which has organized various activities along the Tourdera, organized a new bike ride, this time at night and with an outdoor dinner! During the activity, the attendees passed through towns along the Tourdera such as Tordera and Blanes, enjoying the coolness of the evening and a slightly different and fun activity.
As we have explained to you before, the Grup Vadebici is an entity that promotes Slow-Biking, that is, the practice of cycling without rush and enjoying the landscape. In fact, since 2020, the entity has already organized numerous activities following some section of the Tourdera, bringing together people from different parts of the Catalan geography, interested in getting to know the territory while practicing sports.
The outings organized by Vadebici consist of arriving at the start of the route by public transport (train) or private car, carrying out the activity by doing a non-competitive bike ride to discover the territory, and arriving at the final destination, where there is again a train connection to be able to return home. Within the activity, there are different stops and the atmosphere is always very relaxed and playful.
On this occasion, the night bike ride on August 17th required a little more planning, as the return by train at night is more complicated. For this reason, on the return, they already had a transfer prepared to collect all the bicycles and return to the meeting point!
Upon arriving in Tordera, the group made the first stop for an outdoor dinner at Bar La Sardana in Tordera, a cozy place where they enjoyed a good meal in good company. After dinner, at 10 PM, the night route was resumed, traveling along part of the Tourdera Route until Blanes, surrounded by a summer night that created a different atmosphere and made the participants live a new experience.
