For a few months now, the Tourdera route through the municipality of Riells i Viabrea was diverted at a small point between Avinguda Ferrocarril and Carrer de Santa Fe (Alba de Liste), as a consequence of road improvement works within the municipality.
As we informed you a few months ago, the Tourdera crossing under the train and high-speed rail (TGV) tracks was closed to vehicles, pedestrians, and cyclists. Specifically, the closure took place between Avinguda Ferrocarril and Carrer de Santa Fe (Alba de Liste) and, for this reason, a temporary diversion of the route was set up, as shown in the following map.
Currently, although the works are not 100% finished, both hikers and cyclists can use the crossing and, therefore, follow the original layout of the route. If you do this section, you will also notice that the entire Avinguda del Ferrocarril now incorporates a bike lane, making the passage of the route at this point even safer.
