As in the previous meeting, due to the current rise in COVID-19 cases, the meeting was held again by videoconference to ensure the safety of all attendees. The meeting, which was attended by the 18 municipalities involved in the project, had 20 participants, and a summary of all actions carried out during 2021 was presented, as well as an outline of the lines of action for the upcoming 2022.
During the welcome to the attendees, given by the Tourism Councilor of the Selva County Council, it was highlighted that in the years the project has been running, we have experienced a period of growth and construction of the route. We lived through a very hard episode with Storm Gloria. And now we are in a stage of maturation and stabilization, with many users already on the ground, enjoying a route of nearly 200 km that allows them to discover and appreciate the territory where we are. Furthermore, the fact that it is a complex and highly successful project was highlighted, in the sense that it has managed to bring together 18 municipalities from 3 different regions (comarcas), and even two different provinces, which attests to the interest and benefits that a project of these characteristics can bring to the territory.
