Last Thursday, March 30, the third and final session aimed at entrepreneurs interested in participating in the Tourdera project took place. After the sessions held in Tordera and Hostalric in previous weeks, this time the chosen location was the recently restored train station of Santa Maria de Palautordera.
Within the framework of the cycle of three meetings for entrepreneurs, last Thursday, March 30, the work continued to make known to local companies the possibility of participating in the Tourdera project, by appearing in the web services directory, which will provide access to a file for each participating business. This file, moreover, will also be accessible from the website’s map by activating the services category or the desired subcategory (accommodation, catering, etc.).
The session began with a welcome from the mayor of Santa Maria de Palautordera, Mr. Jordi Xena, and the councilor for tourism, Mr. Albert Ferrer, who emphasized that the route is a local economic development project based on sustainable and respectful tourism. The session continued with a brief introduction to the Tourdera project and the current desire to involve local companies that offer services to route users. In the final part of the session, the services directory and the files with which their companies can be viewed on the website were presented. The companies participating in the session were Rutatur, La Granja, Montseny aventura, Aula d’Entorn Rural Can Turró, Bar-l’Esplai restaurant, Equitació For Life, Restaurant Mas Gelat, Can Pinell de Pagès, Hostal restaurant l’Ou de Reig and Hotel restaurant Can Barrina.
With this session, the first phase of actions to involve companies in the project was completed. However, this first phase of giving visibility to companies on the web can continue in the sense that any interested company can contact us and we will provide them with all the information.
Finally, we would like to thank all the companies that participated in all the sessions and that are sending us the information that, shortly, we will upload to the website to activate the business directory.
