Section Tourdera Gaserans – Breda

Descripció del tram

The Tourdera section between Gaserans (Sant Feliu de Buixalleu) and Breda is of moderate difficulty, with almost 8 km in length (shared throughout the route by cyclists and hikers), a cumulative ascent of 212 m and a cumulative descent of 173 m. Therefore, please bear in mind that there are both uphill and downhill stretches along the route and, if you are cycling, you will need a suitable bicycle, either a mountain bike (MTB) or a gravel bike. Please note that the section starts at the Church of Gaserans, a small hamlet where you will easily find parking. However, you will not find public transport or tourist services there, so this should be taken into account when planning your route. At the end of the section, in the town of Breda, you will find a wide range of cultural attractions and services, as well as an interesting heritage.

To follow the route, you only need to pay attention to the route signage, where you will always see its characteristic blue and green image. The route begins in front of the Church of Gaserans, where you will find the route information panel, and you must take the path that climbs behind the church, following the signs towards Montsoriu. Finally, remember that you will be able to enjoy the route and this walk through a natural environment on the boundary of the Parc Natural del Montseny, and that you should always avoid leaving the marked path and respect the flora and fauna of the area at all times.
