Although a few months ago we informed you that the works in the Can Buscà industrial estate area of Tordera were already finished, currently improvement works are being carried out on the access at this point. These works, which do not directly affect the passage of the route, involve a diversion from the original route layout, although you must circulate taking precautions.
The industrial estate area in the Can Buscà sector of Tordera, where the old Thoro company was located, has undergone a significant urban transformation over the last year, which led to the route being diverted from the current layout for many months.
Although a large part of the work was already finished this summer, one important action was missing, which was changing the access point. Specifically, a roundabout has been built on the BV-5122 road to access the industrial estate and the path to Fogars de la Selva. As a result of this new roundabout, the bridge that crossed the Mina d’Or torrent also had to be moved, building a new one at the beginning of the path through which the route passes.
In the coming weeks, the route signage at this point will be moved to clearly indicate the itinerary, which you can also consult on the route map.
