Section Tourdera Breda – Gaserans
Descripció del tram
The Tordera section between Breda and Gaserans (Sant Feliu de Buixalleu) is of moderate difficulty, with a length of almost 8 km (shared by cyclists and hikers along the entire route), an accumulated ascent of 172m, and a descent of 205m. Therefore, keep in mind that you will encounter both descents and ascents during the route, and if you do it by bike, remember that you will need a well-equipped bicycle, either a mountain bike (BTT) or a gravel bike. At the beginning of the section, in Breda, you will find a wide range of cultural offerings and services, as well as an interesting heritage. You will also have no trouble finding parking. To follow the route, just pay attention to the trail signage, where you will always see the characteristic blue and green image. The route begins at the Plaça de la Vila in Breda, where you will see the route’s information panel, and you must head along Carrer Nou, at the end of which you will find the first signpost for Gaserans.
Please note that the end of the route is at the Gaserans church, a small annexed village where you will not find return transport or tourist services, so you should take this into account when planning your journey. Finally, remember that you can do the route and enjoy the walk through a natural environment on the edge of the Montseny Natural Park; you should always avoid deviating from the marked path and respect the local flora and fauna at all times.
