As many of you know, we have come a long way to get to where we are with the “Tordera and Arbúcies stream Route”. From the moment the idea was born to create a tourism product for hiking and cycle tourism tracing these two river courses to the current state of the project, many actions have already been executed and we are over 50% through the project.

New Tourdera follow-up meeting
Last Friday, April 13th, the semi-annual follow-up meeting of the Tourdera took place at the Santa Maria de Palautordera Town Hall with representatives from the 18 participating town councils, the Consell Comarcal de la Selva, and the Montseny Natural Park. Following the meeting held last December, a review of the actions taken over the last four months was conducted, and future actions were discussed.
La Tourdera at the Tordera Palm Sunday Fair
Last March 23-25, during the celebration of the Fira Mercat del Ram in Tordera, Tourdera was present at one of the fair’s stands, with the participation of the different municipalities that have active sections of the route. Despite the rain over the weekend, both Friday and Sunday we were able to offer information to visitors.
Palau is also activating its sections of the Tourdera.
Continuing with the municipalities that these days have already completed the tasks to make the Tordera route a reality in their municipalities, the Santa Maria de Palautordera town council has also activated the sections that, from the municipality, allow connecting with Sant Celoni and Sant Esteve.
Sant Celoni already has its sections of the Tourdera
The Tordera route in the municipality of Sant Celoni is now fully completed in all its sections! From the center of Sant Celoni, you can take three sections and head towards La Batllòria, Vallgorguina, or Santa Maria de Palautordera, while enjoying a pleasant walk or bike ride.
New section of the Tourdera between Palafolls and Tordera
Following the actions carried out over the last few months, we can now announce that the Tordera route section between Palafolls and Tordera is fully operational, with all signage installed. With this one, there are now 7 active sections of the route.

New section between Mosqueroles and Sant Esteve de Palautordera
Since last December, you can now enjoy a new section of the Tordera route, this time between Mosqueroles (Fogars de Montclús) and Sant Esteve de Palautordera. It is a section of moderate difficulty, approximately 5 kilometers long, which includes a variant for hikers and one for cyclists.
Tourdera biannual progress meeting
This Thursday, December 14th, the semi-annual follow-up meeting of the Tourdera took place at the Hostalric Town Hall with representatives from the 18 participating town councils, the Consell Comarcal de la Selva, and the Montseny Natural Park. Every six months, project participants meet to catch up on the actions taken and to forecast the main actions to be carried out in the coming months.
La Tourdera at the 5th Forest Tourism Forum
Last Friday, November 24th, the V Tourism Forum of La Selva took place, the annual meeting point for tourism in the La Selva region which, in this year’s edition, debated cycle tourism, cycling, and mountain biking as elements of the territory’s tourism offering. At Tourdera, we had the opportunity to present the project and the current status of the actions projected for this year, 2017.
