Modification of route and improvements to signage in Vallgorguina

This January, various improvement works on the Tourdera were completed in the municipality of Vallgorguina, which have incorporated both a small modification to the route and a general improvement of the signage throughout the municipality. These actions represent a substantial improvement to the user experience when taking the route.

Pedaling with the VadeBici group

On Friday, October 19th, the six-monthly monitoring meeting for the “Tordera and Arbúcies stream route (Tourdera)” took place at the Vallgorguina Town Hall, with representatives from the different municipalities participating in the project. During the meeting, where the actions carried out over the last few months were reviewed, the program of activities planned for next year, 2019, was presented and discussed.

Popular inauguration event for the Tourdera

Last Saturday, July 7th, a popular inauguration activity for the Tourdera took place at the Pont Trencat, straddling the municipalities of Santa Maria de Palautordera, Sant Celoni, and Vallgorguina, with walks and bicycle rides, which despite the rain ended with a festive activity at the Pont Trencat with live music, tapas, etc.

Vallgorguina joins the project.

Since this month of July, the Vallgorguina town council is now a new collaborating member of the Tordera route. Just like in the cases of Massanes, Riells i Viabrea, Gualba, or Breda, the municipality of Vallgorguina will have a connecting itinerary from the town center of Vallgorguina to the Tordera route. With this one, there are now 15 municipalities adhering to the project.
