On October 18th, the newspaper Punt Avui published, in both its paper and digital editions, a report on the “Ruta de la Tordera i riera d’Arbúcies (Tourdera)”, highlighting key aspects of the route such as the fact that it connects the Montseny and the Mediterranean, the good train connections to access the route, its focus on the economic development of the municipalities through which it passes, etc.

El pasado 13 de octubre tuvo lugar, en la Masía Can Figueres de Gualba, una presentación del proyecto “Ruta de la Tordera i riera d’Arbúcies”, abierta a la ciudadanía en general. Durante la charla se dio a conocer la ruta, pero también se habló de forma general del proyecto y de su objetivo final como proyecto de desarrollo territorial.

The BCN+ blog is the tourism promotion window of the Barcelona Provincial Council through its brand “Barcelona és molt més”. To promote the Tourdera, last Thursday, November 17, a visit was held with various media outlets with the aim of explaining the Tordera route and the Arbúcies stream to journalists, in person and on the ground. To do this, a small section of the Arbúcies route was chosen, along which part of the Arbúcies stream was followed to make the philosophy of the project known and to experience it.

Popular inauguration event for the Tourdera

Last Saturday, July 7th, a popular inauguration activity for the Tourdera took place at the Pont Trencat, straddling the municipalities of Santa Maria de Palautordera, Sant Celoni, and Vallgorguina, with walks and bicycle rides, which despite the rain ended with a festive activity at the Pont Trencat with live music, tapas, etc.

Yesterday, Tuesday, June 12th, the official inauguration of the first sections of the Tordera route took place, culminating a first phase of the project in which 11 municipalities have already completed all the signage and paving improvement actions, reaching 114 kilometers of fully practicable itinerary.
