As we announced in our newsletter, on 10 and 11 April the “La Tordera Delta Inundable” Congress was held in Malgrat de Mar, an event aimed at addressing issues such as the flood risk of the Tordera and analysing the opportunities for renaturalising the Delta.

Results of the latest review of the Tourdera
As we have already informed you on several occasions, the Tourdera Technical Office carries out two complete inspections of the route every year. This January, we processed all the data collected during the inspection carried out between October and November across all Tourdera sections distributed among the 18 participating municipalities.
Repair work on the footbridge over the Santa Coloma stream in Massanes completed
Massanes City Council has completed the rehabilitation works on the footbridge over the Santa Coloma stream in Massanes, which connects the train station with the C-35 road. The crossing at this point of the route suffered serious damage as a result of flooding, which meant the Tourdera passage was compromised.
Semi-annual review of the Tourdera
Over the last few months, we have carried out a complete review of the entire route to check its condition, signage, etc. As always, after the review, we issue a detailed report to each of the 18 participating municipalities with everything we have detected so that solutions can be implemented.

Completion of the upgrade works on the “Camí del Molí” in Hostalric
After a few weeks of construction, we can now announce that the Tourdera path through the “Camí del Molí” in Hostalric has been reopened. As we previously announced, as part of the implementation of the actions of the Sustainable Tourism Plan in Destination (PSTD) of La Selva interior, construction work began in the municipality of Hostalric on January 14th to improve this path, which will mean better safety and comfort for the route’s users.
Improvements to the bike path along which the Tourdera of Passeig S’Abanell de Blanes passes
Blanes City Council, through the Aspronis Foundation, has carried out improvement works on the S’Abanell Promenade bike lane in Blanes, which runs from the Plaça dels Països Catalans to Avinguda del Mediterrani. Temporary detour between the broken bridge and the C-61 road (Vallgorguina link)
The section of the Tourdera that connects the main route itinerary with the village of Vallgorguina has a small part of the route temporarily out of service. Specifically, the affected section is located between the Pont Trencat area, situated between the municipalities of Sant Celoni and Santa Maria de Palautordera, and the C-61 road.
Modification of route and improvements to signage in Vallgorguina
This January, various improvement works on the Tourdera were completed in the municipality of Vallgorguina, which have incorporated both a small modification to the route and a general improvement of the signage throughout the municipality. These actions represent a substantial improvement to the user experience when taking the route.
Road closed due to construction in Hostalric
As part of the deployment of one of the actions of the Sustainable Tourism Plan for the Destination (PSTD) of Inner La Selva – Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan, funded by the European Union – Next Generation EU, on January 14th, works began in the municipality of Hostalric for the adaptation of the so-called “Camí al Molí” (Mill Path), belonging to a section of the Tourdera.
