New sections of the Tourdera from Breda

Last week, the Breda City Council carried out the signage for a new short section of the Tourdera. Specifically, from the town of Breda, where the section of the Tourdera that climbs from Riells i Viabrea arrives, to the Coll de n’Orri, where the branch of the route that goes from Gaserans to the Castell de Montsoriu passes.

After the proposal to carry out the signage for a new section of the route between Breda and the Coll de n’Orri arose in one of the annual meetings of the Tourdera project, the proposal became a reality last week. Until last week, the town of Breda was part of one of the branches of the Tourdera that linked the town with the main itinerary. However, very close to the town, the branch of the route that follows the Arbúcies stream passed, specifically the section between the village of Gaserans (Sant Feliu de Buixalleu) and the Castell de Montsoriu.

With the signage of this short section of approximately 2.6 km, it has been possible to link two nearby points of the route and create two new sections, the section between Breda and the Castell de Montsoriu and the section between Breda and the village of Gaserans. In the links, you will find the technical information for the sections, as well as access to Wikiloc to download the tracks.

The signage for this section of the route can be found in the route’s usual format for the Natural Park area, that is, with wooden markers and green tracking plates featuring the route’s image, as well as Natural Park tracking banners or, in urban areas, urban banners.

We leave you with some images of the route below and we hope you like the new sections!
