The “Tordera and Arbúcies Stream Route” project is an initiative led by 18 town councils that, by offering a hiking and cycling route, aims to incentivize their local economies through the arrival of visitors to their municipalities. Currently, the project provides a directory of businesses to these municipalities’ companies in order to give visibility to these businesses to visitors. Actions aimed at tourism businesses
Within the framework of the Sustainable Tourism Destination Plan being developed by the La Selva County Council, a series of actions aimed at tourism entrepreneurs and local entities will take place during the second semester of this year, 2025, to make the territory where the County Council develops its projects more sustainable and of higher quality. Among these projects, therefore, are the “Tordera and Arbúcies Stream Route (Tourdera)”.

Natural spaces are ideal destinations for carrying out outdoor activities, especially in places like the Montseny Natural Park, which offers a great variety of environments, landscapes, flora and fauna, microclimates, etc. Beyond the active tourism activities that many people carry out on their own, such as walking along a section of the Tourdera, it is worth highlighting and especially valuing the experiences guided by experts to discover the environment and nature.
Night cycling tour of the Va de bici group
Last August 17th, the Vadebici group, which has organized various activities along the Tourdera, organized a new bike ride, this time at night and with an outdoor dinner! During the activity, the attendees passed through towns along the Tourdera such as Tordera and Blanes, enjoying the coolness of the evening and a slightly different and fun activity.

Tourism product creation meeting in Santa Maria de Palautordera
Last Friday, May 31st, a meeting for business owners took place in Santa Maria de Palautordera to create tourism products around the Tourdera. As you know, at Tourdera we have a directory of companies where you can find services for route users, but with this event, we wanted to go a step further and encourage business owners to create products around the Tourdera by combining different services.
An adventure through the Tourdera to celebrate the first year of Rutatur and Montseny Via Natural
As we explained to you in another post, since April 1, 2023, the old train station building of Santa Maria de Palautordera, renamed Montseny Via Natural and managed by the Rutatur company (a participant in the Tourdera directory of companies), has become a source of adventures and discoveries for locals and visitors alike. And, this past Saturday, April 6, on the occasion of its first anniversary as a centre for active and sustainable tourism, it became the starting point of a very special tourism-sports challenge, “La Rutatur”: a route with a total distance of 90 km and an elevation gain of 550m on mountain bikes.
Conference for entrepreneurs in Sant Esteve de Palautordera
