Signage improvements in the municipality of Montseny
On October 18th, the Montseny City Council carried out an improvement action on the directional signage for the route’s tracking banners throughout the municipality. Specifically, these were directional banners in the rural environment (natural park signage), which were having problems with the vinyl stickers.
Some tips for sustainable tourism in Montseny
As you know, one of the great attractions of the Tourdera is the Montseny Biosphere Reserve, the massif where the Tordera river and the Arbúcies stream are born, which give our route its name. This space, of great relevance and importance for the biodiversity it hosts (check here the post we prepared for you), must be preserved and we must make its enjoyment compatible with its conservation. Therefore, following the recommendations of the European Charter for Sustainable Tourism in Montseny, we provide you with some tips to enjoy it in a sustainable way.
Signage improvements in the municipality of Sant Celoni
During the month of June, the Sant Celoni City Council carried out an improvement project for the urban directional signs used for route following. Specifically, these were directional signs in the urban environment that were experiencing problems with their vinyl overlays.
New signage in Blanes
As you know, Storm Gloria caused a lot of trouble and damage to the Tourdera, but it has also brought, in the long run, some benefits, such as the greater status of preservation of the Tordera mouth, or the reconstruction of the Tordera bridge between Malgrat de Mar and Blanes, much larger and with a segregated bike lane. This month, new signage has been installed at this point, improving connectivity between these two towns.

Results of the latest review of the Tourdera
Since the end of December, and during the month of January, we have been carrying out reviews of the Tourdera and issuing reports to each of the maintenance managers, in order to detect problems on the route and be able to prepare it for the arrival of good weather.
El invierno: una buena oportunidad para realizar los tramos más exigentes
As you know, the Tourdera presents an itinerary with different difficulties, with very easy and flat sections, but also with much longer routes with a lot of elevation gain. In winter, when the landscape changes again after all the autumn leaves have fallen, it can be a good time to do the more demanding sections, since the temperature and the sun will not be the limiting factors that we find in the summer season.
La Tourdera connecting sections (part 3): the case of Massanes
Today we bring you a new installment of the collection of articles related to the Tourdera connection itineraries. As we already explained to you, the Tordera Route and Arbúcies stream (Tourdera) is an itinerary that follows the course of the Tordera River and the Arbúcies stream in practically its entirety, but there are also some links to the route from towns near the river, as is the case of Massanes, Gualba, Riells i Viabrea, Breda or Vallgorguina. 1st annual route review
As you know, on the Tourdera route we annually carry out two complete revisions of the entire route and, regarding all the incidents detected, we send everything detected to those responsible for maintenance in each municipality. During this month of July, the 1st annual review of the entire route is being carried out.
