Actions to improve signage in Gualba

This week, maintenance work has been carried out on the route signage in the municipality of Gualba, as well as some expansion of the existing signage to improve the route following experience for users. The Tourdera section in Gualba allows users to deviate from the main route to discover this small municipality located at the foot of the Montseny, enjoying a pleasant and quiet walk along the old royal road.

Installation of signage on the cycle path between Breda and Viabrea.

This week, new Tourdera signage has been installed on the cycle path that connects the town of Breda with the center of Viabrea and its train station. This cycle path, which is part of the Tourdera section between Breda and Riells i Viabrea, is part of a safe walkway between these two municipalities, where you will now also find the Tourdera identification.

Consolidation works on the slopes of the Tordera in Tordera

The consolidation work on the slopes of the Tordera River in the town of Tordera, which were severely affected by Storm Gloria, continues to advance. Currently, the most complex work, which was the consolidation of the slope with stone riprap, is already finished, and in the coming weeks, the second phase of the project will begin to return the space to its initial state.

Restoration of the Blanes sections

As you know, during the month of January, with the strong effects of Storm Gloria, the most significant incidents occurred throughout the lower Tordera area, especially in the municipalities of Blanes and Malgrat de Mar. New Tourdera section: cycle path between Breda and Viabrea already active

After months of construction, at the end of July, the cycle path connecting the urban center of Breda and the Riells i Viabrea-Breda railway station was officially inaugurated. This section is an integral part of the Tourdera route between Riells i Viabrea and Breda. This was the last section of the Tourdera under construction, beyond the works still to be carried out as a result of Storm Gloria.

Inactive route due to storm Glòria

We remind you that, as a consequence of Storm Gloria, passage is not guaranteed along all sections of the Tordera route, where in some cases the damage has been very significant (fords, paths, signage…). For this reason, THE ROUTE IS CURRENTLY INACTIVE and PASSAGE IS NOT ADVISABLE through numerous sections until normality is restored.
