Last August 17th, the Vadebici group, which has organized various activities along the Tourdera, organized a new bike ride, this time at night and with an outdoor dinner! During the activity, the attendees passed through towns along the Tourdera such as Tordera and Blanes, enjoying the coolness of the evening and a slightly different and fun activity.

An adventure through the Tourdera to celebrate the first year of Rutatur and Montseny Via Natural
As we explained to you in another post, since April 1, 2023, the old train station building of Santa Maria de Palautordera, renamed Montseny Via Natural and managed by the Rutatur company (a participant in the Tourdera directory of companies), has become a source of adventures and discoveries for locals and visitors alike. And, this past Saturday, April 6, on the occasion of its first anniversary as a centre for active and sustainable tourism, it became the starting point of a very special tourism-sports challenge, “La Rutatur”: a route with a total distance of 90 km and an elevation gain of 550m on mountain bikes.
Tourdera monitoring and coordination meeting in Montseny
On January 19th, the annual monitoring and coordination meeting for the “Ruta de la Tordera i riera d’Arbúcies” project took place in the municipality of Montseny. In these meetings, which are held periodically with the 18 town councils participating in the project, all actions carried out in recent months are presented, as well as proposals for actions for the coming year.
Directory of tourist services on the Tourdera website
This April we have released a new section on the Tourdera website that we have been waiting for for a long time: the tourist services directory. After the cycle of business meetings we held during the month of March in Tordera, Hostalric and Santa Maria de Palautordera, we have begun uploading information about the companies that will make users’ experience with the route even better.

Last Thursday, March 30, the third and final session aimed at entrepreneurs interested in participating in the Tourdera project took place. After the sessions held in Tordera and Hostalric in previous weeks, this time the chosen location was the recently restored train station of Santa Maria de Palautordera.

Cycle of business meetings to participate in the Tourdera project
During the coming weeks, several meetings will take place at different points in the Tourdera territory, aimed at local companies that offer services to potential users of the route (accommodation, catering, activities, nature, guiding, sale/rental/repair of bicycles, etc.). The goal is to offer the possibility of appearing in the website’s service directory and on the route’s interactive map.
