Construction work begins on an ornithological park in Riells and Viabrea

As part of the deployment of one of the actions of the Sustainable Tourism Plan for the Destination (PSTD) of Inner La Selva, in the first week of February, construction began on what will be the “Riells i Viabrea Ornithological Park”, located in the 1st of October park, which is signposted from the Tourdera and is approximately 200 meters away.

New roundabout and underpass on the C35 between Riells and La Batllòria

After several months of work, the underpass for the C-35 road, between Riells i Viabrea and La Batllòria (Sant Celoni), is now in operation. In fact, since the end of April, the passage has been reopened while the remaining work is being finished. Thus, this section of the Tourdera, which was affected for several months and required crossing the road via a pedestrian crossing with traffic lights, is now once again crossed normally and safely under the road.

Riells and Viabrea section – La Batllòria

As we mentioned last week, the Tourdera has some routes that we call “link” routes, which are branches of the route itself that connect population centers near the Tordera, but are not located right next to the river itself. This is the case, for example, of the section we present today, which connects Riells i Viabrea with La Batllòria, from where you can access the main route.

Completion of the works at La Tourdera

On June 28, all the adaptation and signage works for the sections of the Tordera and Arbúcies stream route in the municipalities of the Girona area were completed. Currently, you can enjoy the entire route, from the Font Bona in Sant Marçal to the mouth of the Tordera, both through Blanes and Malgrat, and descending along the Arbúcies stream or the main course of the Tordera.
